Biography
Jing Chu holds a BA in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (Hons) Suzhou University, China); a PhD in Applied Linguistics (SOAS, UK). She also holds a Qualification Certificate in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (Advanced) from Hanban and achieved Band 2, Level 1 in the national Mandarin Proficiency Test (PSC). Jing started teaching Mandarin in 2003 and teaches across all levels. She has been teaching in the UK High Education sector since 2010.
Research Interests & Publications
Her research interests are in using multimedia materials in language teaching, activities design, CALL, and online Mandarin teaching programme development.
