Biography

Jocelyn Cheek is responsible for the production of cultural activity across the Strand campus, showcasing King's content and creating meaningful touchpoints for a range of audiences. This includes dedicated visual arts galleries, public realm spaces, workshop and event spaces, and pop up events.

Jocelyn joined King’s College from Richmond and Wandsworth Council where she was responsible for public and strategic programmes at Richmond Arts Service, with an ethos focused on building community and connection through creativity. This included developing, marketing, and delivering arts events, exhibitions, festivals, and public art installations. Jocelyn has a background in performing arts, studying English Literature and Theatre at the University of Leeds. She then founded and developed the Community Engagement department at Trinity Theatre and Arts Centre, where she also managed the visual arts programme for 4 years.

Jocelyn is a board director for Trinity Theatre and Arts Centre leads the Artistic, Audience and Marketing Sub-committee.
