Biography
Katie Hughes is the Open Access Librarian and oversees three main areas on the Open Research Team: OA funded publishing, depositing manuscripts in King’s Pure Portal, and PhD etheses deposits.
Before arriving at King’s, Katie worked in the Office of Scholarly Communication as the Open Access Research Advisor and as a User Experience Librarian at the Judge Business School located at the University of Cambridge.

All things Open Access, Open Research, academic publishing and navigating the complexities between funder requirements and publisher policies.
Training
The Open Access team provide training on Open Access, depositing papers in Pure, and funder requirements.
