Biography

Lauren is a researcher within the Cancer Behavioural Science Unit within the Cancer Prevention Group. Lauren’s research interests have so far been focused on supporting informed and equitable participation in cancer screening programmes. In April 2022, Lauren joined KCL and began working with Dr Jo Waller on a project exploring the acceptability of using artificial intelligence in breast screening. Lauren is in the process of completing an interdisciplinary PhD looking at equitable lung cancer screening information provision using picture narrative form. Prior to this, she was a research assistant within the Cancer Behaviour Research Group at the University of Glasgow, with experience in qualitative, quantitative and participatory methods.
