Biography
Layecha Fidahoussen joined King’s College London during her placement year in the Psychoimmunometabolix & Interaction with the Environment (PIXIE) Lab. There, she contributed to the CODA feasibility study, which investigates whether individuals with both depression and obesity can complete an eight-week course of minocycline alongside their standard antidepressant treatment. Following her placement, she remained with the lab as a Research Technician, primarily conducting laboratory work using ELISA techniques. During this time, she is also completing the final year of her undergraduate degree in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience at the University of Westminster.
