Lucy Barron

"Hello, I'm Lucy, and I am one of the Wellbeing Officers for the Social Science and Public Policy faculty (SSPP).

Since graduating from university in 2019, I have worked in advice giving roles. Prior to King’s, I worked as an Employment Advisor and a Support Manager. Both roles involved supporting people with mental and physical health conditions back into employment. I like to think that I am a good listener, approachable and empathetic. I am lucky that I get to work with a wide range of students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds, across the four schools within SSPP. I particularly enjoy helping facilitate student engagement events across the faculty. Outside of work, I enjoy running, traveling, knitting and volunteering at a local Girlguiding (Brownies) unit."
