Biography

Lucy Hayes obtained a Bachelor's degree in Theology from King's College London, where she also served as Vice President of the KCLSU.

Lucy previously held the positions of Partnerships Manager and Head of Operations at the University of West London Student's Union, where she played an integral role in the turnaround of the student union, which was ranked one of the worst-rated in the NSS to being voted the best in England for five consecutive years by students.

Throughout her nine-year tenure at the University of West London Student’s Union, Lucy designed and delivered several different projects including new student induction programmes for 3500 new students and leading the student activities department to deliver a project comprised of a series of events to engage the black student community through workshops and celebration events which saw a significant increase in engagement among this student demographic.

Lucy joins King’s as the Strategic Projects Manager (Education), a new role within NMPC Faculty, and will be responsible for the management, implementation and delivery of strategic and process improvement projects in support of the Education strategy, with a focus on our undergraduate pre-registration nursing and midwifery students, reporting to the Director of Operations, Dr Andreia Carvalho N’Djai, and working closely with the Vice Dean Education, Prof Mary Malone.
