
Biography
Madeline joined the TOUR team in September 2024 as a Research Assistant within the Guy’s Cancer Real World Evidence Programme. In this position, she is assisting in the development and management of two clinical databases. The first is a registry of DPYD results in patients with solid tumours undergoing fluoropyrimidine based chemotherapy in the UK and the second is a database to log the treatment and adverse events of cancer patients undergoing cellular therapy treatments in the UK. These projects are under the guidance of Dr Mieke Van Hemelrijck, Dr Gincy George, and Dr Charlotte Moss. Prior to joining the TOUR team, Madeline earned her Master’s in the Control of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine during which she completed a dissertation on the hand hygiene behaviors of caregivers in Maputo, Mozambique. She previously earned her BSc in the Biological Sciences from the University of Notre Dame in 2023.
