Biography
Dr Matteo Tanzi is a Lecturer in Disordered Systems and Analysis in the Department of Mathematics at King’s College London.
Dr Tanzi studies ergodic theory and the dynamics of coupled and complex systems. He received his BSc in Physics and MSc in Theoretical Physics from the University of Pisa and the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa. He then obtained his PhD in Mathematics from Imperial College London and later held postdoctoral positions at the University of Victoria (Canada), New York University (USA), and Université Paris Cité (France). He was a recipient of a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Fellowship for a project on the ergodic theory of coupled chaotic maps.
