Biography
Merve is a PhD student in the Methodology Division at King's College London. A Registered Mental Health Nurse from Turkiye, Merve has over six years of clinical experience in mental health, psychiatry and addiction services. She holds an MSc in Advanced Practice in Healthcare from the University of Birmingham, UK, where her dissertation was a systematic review of qualitative evidence on promoting physical activity in mental health care. She also holds a BSN (Hons) from Gazi University in Turkiye.
At King's College London, Merve's research focuses on the management of multimorbidity, particularly substance use, cardiovascular disease and severe mental illness, through a public health approach. With a strong commitment to bridging the gap between clinical practice and evidence-based research, Merve aims to enhance mental health services and contribute to better patient outcomes.
