Biography

Dr Milena Falcaro has a degree (4 years plus thesis) in Statistical and Economic Sciences and a PhD in Statistics, both from the University of Padova (Italy). She has extensive experience in medical statistics and epidemiology. Over the years she has developed expertise in both applied and methodological research, particularly with electronic health records, complex longitudinal studies and large population-based registry data.

Before joining the Cancer Prevention Group at King's in January 2020, she held research positions at the University of Manchester (Biostatistics Group, Health Methodology Group and NW Institute for Bio-Health Informatics), the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and University College London.

Her main research interests are in survival analysis, methods for missing values, longitudinal and multilevel data, simulation studies and programming.
