Nicos Hadjigeorgiou is a PhD student in the Department of Engineering at King’s College London. His research focuses on the electromechanical design of upper-limb prostheses for everyday use, investigating methods for intuitive control and functional design.

Prior to starting his PhD, Nicos spent a year in industry, where he worked on designing and manufacturing of personalised orthopaedic implants.

He holds an integrated MEng/BEng degree in Medical Engineering with first-class honours from the University of Leeds, awarded in 2021.
