About
In her work in King's Innovation Catalyst, Dr Rachel Parker has bridged science, strategy, and stakeholder engagement to help King’s researchers advance their early-stage research through forging impactful pre-competitive collaborations and securing diversified research funding with external partners.
Rachel also led on a number of long-term strategic research partnerships that King’s College London holds with companies, including Apollo Therapeutics, UCB and Unilever.
Rachel’s background is as a biomedical researcher, with a BSc (Hons) Biochemistry, University of Edinburgh a PhD in Neuroscience, University of Edinburgh and over 20 years of experience of basic, translational, and clinical research, spanning academia, national funding agencies, and the pharmaceutical sector.
