Have a research idea with the potential to improve patient care but unsure how to take the first step?

This interactive workshop is open to all but will be more of interest to researchers and research support staff who want to explore how innovation can translate into real‑world patient benefit.

Participants will discuss what innovation means in practice, how to keep patient impact at the centre of new ideas, and the key considerations when developing a novel therapeutic, medical device or diagnostics. The session is facilitated by members of King’s Innovation Catalyst (KIC), bringing expertise in translational research, industry collaboration and intellectual property.

You’ll have the opportunity to connect with others at a similar early stage of translation, ask questions in a supportive setting, and learn how KIC can support your next steps.

The session will last an hour, but the KIC team will be around for a little while afterwards to answer questions and to arrange any follow‑up meetings for project‑specific queries.

Lunch will be provided. Places limited to 30 attendees.
