Dr Rebecca Lindner is Reader in Education Leadership at King’s College London. She joined King’s in 2023 from University College London, where she was Principal Research Fellow at the Doctoral School and Associate Professor at UCL’s Centre for Research-based Education. Prior to this, Rebecca was Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies at the University of Oregon’s Honors College and Head of Humanities at Amsterdam University College. She has taught widely across the Arts & Humanities in the UK, the US and The Netherlands, and also has extensive experience leading teaching and learning initiatives in the natural and social sciences.

Her areas of expertise include global liberal arts, interdisciplinary education, inclusive pedagogy, curriculum development, effective supervisory practice, international co-teaching, professional development for academic leaders, and higher education policy. Her collaborative work on widening participation for postgraduate research students has been funded by Research England and the Office for Students.
