
Biography
Rohit Sagoo is a children's nurse, a research assistant at KCL, and a PhD researcher. He has an extensive career in nursing and education. After a decade of practice in London hospitals, he transitioned to teaching and, in 2016, founded British Sikh Nurses to support the South Asian community's health needs and nursing development. Recognised with the Royal College of Nursing Leadership Award (2021) and London Faith and Belief Award (2018), Rohit was also named the Prime Minister's 1514th Point of Light in 2020. His organisation earned a commendation at the BBC Make A Difference Awards (2023). Rohit was listed among the top 75 influential UK nurses by the Nursing Times and became a Queen's Nurse and top 50 HSJ health influencer in 2024. He frequently appears on major media promoting health and well-being and serves as a director for World Seniors Snooker and a trustee for 'Let's Talk About Loss'.
