
Biography
Rose Hepworth is Head of Institute and Centre Operations in the Faculty of Natural Mathematical and Engineering Sciences, King’s College London. In this role she manages the Institute & Centres (based in Enterprise & Engagement) team which provides the professional services support for the Faculty’s research centres including the Centre for the Physical Sciences of Life, the Net Zero Centre, and the King’s Institute for Artificial Intelligence.
Rose joined King’s in 2022 as Institute Manager in the King’s Institute for Artificial Intelligence, and worked closely with the founding Academic Director to establish the Institute, develop its mission and priorities, and build its operations team. Prior to this, Rose was at Goldsmiths, University of London where she held roles in department management and on transformation projects. Rose holds a PhD in Literature and Comparative Media from the University of Cambridge.
