Saliha Afzal
Manager of the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC)
Biography
Saliha oversees and facilitates all administrative, financial, communication and performance management functions of the NIHR Maudsley BRC to ensure its smooth running and development.
She has a PhD in the cellular and molecular biology of ovarian cancer and has managed the Maudsley BRC since 2008.
Her previous jobs included roles at Cancer Research UK and at the MRC Neurodegenerative Diseases Brainbank at King’s College London.
