Sandra is currently completing a PhD in the Department of Political Economy at King’s College London. She is working on the politics of speech, applying methods in positive political theory to the study of speech policies and attitudes in liberal societies. She is particularly interested in the contemporary understanding of political correctness, as well as in its social causes and implications for liberalism.

Sandra holds a Magister in political science, new German literature, and romance studies with distinction from the University of Bonn (2010) and an MA in international business economics from the University of East Anglia (2011). She was teaching assistant for undergraduates in Introduction to Political Theory and Political Economy: concepts and Issues at King’s College London.
