Biography

Shantok Jetha is the Senior Programme Officer (PGT Online) in the Department of Informatics, at King's College London. Shantok is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of our online distance learning postgraduate taught programme, MSc Advanced Cyber Security.

This includes:

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support for the delivery of the King’s Online managed programme, working closely with student support and academic colleagues as part of the online programmes team.
  • Managing day-to-day staff and student enquiries.
  • Creation, review, and implementation of administrative processes in line with College and Faculty deadlines, regulations and guidelines.
  • Delivering administration processes for assessments and the Assessment Sub-Board process for confirming student progression and final awards.
  • Ensure quality assurance requirements are followed across all processes and student records, ensuring records are accurately maintained in accordance with the agreed retention schedules.
  • Maintaining data quality of student records including completing programme, module credit checks, and ensuring records are accurately maintained.
  • Responsible for servicing the online Staff Student Liaison Committee (SSLC)
  • Overseeing module evaluation process.
  • Work with the wider College network to ensure up-to-date and consistent practices are followed when utilising systems e.g. student records systems and virtual learning environments, to undertake both day-to-day functions and higher-level processes such as reporting and extracting data, ensuring accuracy of data and identifying and resolving issues.
  • Maintaining updates about College and department policies and procedures, and disseminating information to academic staff and students.
