Biography
Dr Shingo Hayashida is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Physics at King’s College London.
He is a Software Engineer working on the Hyper-K experiment. His main work is the development of web applications and machine learning which utilised the generative model. He earned PhD at Tohoku University for his research on Neutrinoless Double-Beta Decay with the KamLAND -Zen experiment. He was involved in the SoLid experiment as a Research Associate at Imperial College London, where he researched the very short-baseline reactor neutrino. He is also involved in the development of nFacet, a portable real-time neutron directional detector.
