Dr Stella Christou

Biography

Stella Christou is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Dr Hannah Mischo's lab, studying the Transcription Termination and Polyadenylation mechanisms in yeast and the human fungal pathogen Candida albicans. Stella completed her PhD at the University of Sheffield under the supervision of Prof Kathryn Ayscough and Dr Simon Johnston, studying the host-pathogen interactions of Candida albicans with the human host.
