Professor Steve Connor was appointed as a Consultant Neuroradiologist at King’s College Hospital, London in 2002. He also holds an honorary post as a Consultant Head and Neck radiologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. He was promoted to Professor of Head and Neck radiology at King’s College London in 2026.

He is a past President of the British Society of Head and Neck Imaging (BSHNI) and was the inaugural Visiting Professor for the BSHNI and Royal College of Radiologists. He is the current Vice-President of the European Society of Head and Neck Radiology, having led the ESHNR Education committee and co-led a European mentoring program for Head and Neck radiologists.

He has authored over 220 peer reviewed articles (h index 41) and has written 17 book chapters. He acts as associate editor for three journals and has been guest editor for two special editions. He has led the annual London Temporal Bone Imaging course since 2008.

His main research interests are in otology, head and neck cancer and skull base imaging. His current work focuses on imaging of auditory implants, multi-parametric MRI in head and neck cancer and imaging to aid the management of vestibular schwannomas. He was awarded a PhD for his thesis on MRI acquisition and analysis for the diagnosis of Ménière’s Disease.
