
Biography
Dr Sunil Taper is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in the Department of Physics at King’s College London, working under the supervision of Dr Chiara Gattinoni.
Dr Taper studied for his PhD under Dr Giuliana Di Martino in the Department of Material Science and Metallurgy at the University of Cambridge. Previously, he received his MPhys from the Department of Physics at the University of Leicester.
Research
Dr Taper’s research involves engineering and understanding Ferroelectric materials from first-principles to help provide solutions towards reducing a growing societal demand for energy. His research interests also include:
- Computational Physics
- Material Science
- Ferroelectric thin films and surfaces.
