Post-Doctoral Research Associate

Biography

I graduated from the University of York with a first-class Masters in Biology (MBiol) in 2017 before accepting a BBSRC PhD studentship on the LIDo DTP programme in late 2017. I undertook my PhD in the Randall Centre between 2018 and 2022 between the Cox and Parsons labs investigating the role of the mechano-sensory protein YAP in breast cancer spheroids using advanced imaging modalities. Since April 2022, I have been working as a post-doctoral research associate on the Wellcome Leap Tissue project to examine changes in triple negative breast cancer tissue state evolution with diSPIM and STORM microscopy as well as FFPE and organoid samples.
