Formally trained in project management, Vibeke Skage is a member of the King’s Brazil Institute where she serves as Event & Programme Coordinator, organising high-profile international conferences and public forums for leading scholars and decision-makers.

As a research affiliate, Vibeke holds an MSc in Global Affairs from King’s College London, specialising in natural resource governance across Africa and Latin America. Driven by a deep interest in urban environments of the Global South, her research interrogates political inclusion and contestation across multiple tiers of resource governance. Her multidisciplinary portfolio spans environmental justice and participatory urbanism, advancing inclusive and resilient urban transformation.
