
Biography
Dr Wasana Kalansooriya is a Research Associate in Health Economics at King’s College London. She holds a PhD from the City, University of London. Prior to joining Kings College London, she worked as a senior lecturer at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. She has done researches on food security, food demand, cost of illness, healthcare expenditures and health related labour market outcomes in Low and Middle income countries and in the UK. Her current research focuses on variations of the resource use for formal and informal care by stroke survivors.
