
Biography
Xiaohe Xu is a PhD student at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King’s College London, supervised by Dr Giouliana Kadra-Scalzo, Professor Robert Stewart, and Dr Ruimin Ma.
She holds an MSc in Organisational Psychiatry and Psychology from King’s College London and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Sheffield.
Her research interests focus on mental health recovery, digital mental health, and applied research in occupational outcomes. She is also a member of the ReWORK Lab, led by Dr Giouliana Kadra-Scalzo.
Her current doctoral project investigates occupational recovery among mental health service users, drawing on large-scale electronic health records and employment data to examine recovery outcomes and inform service development.
