Miss Yi Jin

Biography

Yi Jin is a PhD candidate in the Translational Systems Biology Lab at King’s College London under the supervision of Dr Saeed Shoaie. Her research focuses on analysing oral and gut metagenomics and antimicrobial resistance in chronic liver diseases, utilizing computational and statistical approaches.

Yi earned her Master’s degree from King’s College London in 2021, where her thesis integrated omics data and mathematical metabolic models to predict microbiome community activities in liver cirrhosis. After completing her MSc, Yi worked as a bioinformatician, further developing expertise in multi-omics analysis, biostatistics, and Linux programming while generating analysis reports for microbiome projects.
