
Biography
Yuen Kaye Li is the bioinformatic research assistant for King’s Genomics, she previously worked as a registered Biomedical Scientist in Neuropathology and Transmission Electron Microscopy and the Cambridge Brain Bank in Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge NHS for 6 years. She went on to work in Aberdeen NHS Grampian as a locum biomedical scientist. Then completed a Genomic medicine MSc with King’s College London and St George’s University and gained the NIHR pre-doctoral fellowship the following year with a Statistical modelling and health informatics MSc at King’s College London. Following this, she joined King’s Genomics as the Bioinformatician in the summer of 2023.
Within King’s Genomics, she provides quality-checking of Illumina genotype data, Imputation and Polygenic Risk scoring services alongside assistance of some laboratory specimen processing.
