About us
The Strategy, Planning & Analytics (SPA) Directorate is responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategy at King's, including Vision 2029; for orchestrating business planning processes; and for delivering student management information/ana
SPA serves as the essential linchpin for strategy and transformation within the university. The Directorate’s responsibilities include:
- Development and implementation of strategies and business plans
- Project delivery using proven Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
- Promoting the application of change management and process improvement methodologies
- Design and management of the annual Business Planning process
- Supporting data driven decision making
- Establishing and operating institution-wide performance monitoring frameworks
- Providing business intelligence, insight and analytics
- Oversight of statutory data reporting, including Government agencies such as HESA
- Asset creation including Power BI dashboards and a comprehensive online Report Catalogue containing over 90 user-controlled data apps and reports, all designed to assist staff with daily reporting requirements
