Ensure-6G: End-to-end Sustainable And Resilient Multimodal 6G

To cover highly dynamic data traffic, reduce energy consumption and enable cost-effective multi-level resource pooling for future 6G networks, critical advances in RAN design, network management layers and deep edge integration with resource-constrained services are required. To this end, ENSURE-6G proposes a ground-breaking investigation and concept definition based on the provision of services in heterogeneous communication and computing environments in a unified manner, with a focus on terminal-to-terminal distribution scenarios. The basis of the ENSURE 6G vision is a flexible, sustainable and resilient end-to-end architecture that dynamically encompasses all available resources (e.g. computing, storage and network resources) and enables service-driven provisioning (e.g. virtual and/or physical).

Joint application in the call EU HORIZON-JU-SNS (volume: 5 m, period: 2023-2026) together with industrial partners such as Toshiba Europe and Intel Deutschland
