Dr Russell is a rheumatologist and NIHR Advanced Fellow at King’s. His research focuses on the analysis of large, real-world health datasets, using data platforms such as OpenSAFELY. He combines these analyses with quality improvement methodology to improve care for people with immune-mediated inflammatory diseases throughout the UK. He collaborates with organisations including the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP).
