After a competitive second round of the King's Climate & Sustainability Seed Funding, seven research projects targeting novel and distinctive challenges relating to climate change have been awarded £330,000.
The projects will each help scale up existing knowledge relating to a variety of vital global issues. From effective geopolitical climate measures to tackling just transitions and global adaptation, the projects focus on some of the key challenges facing the world today.
The proposals were selected for their potential to lead on to larger research programmes, attracting external funding and creating new knowledge that will challenge existing thoughts and practices across the industry.
