Words for All: Implementation and process evaluation

Purpose

Words for All is a programme that provides additional support to secondary school students to improve their literacy skills. The purpose of this evaluation is to examine the impact of the programme and how it has been implemented in approximately 50 secondary schools to support students who have previously had a social worker.

Methods

The project includes observations of training and regional network events (currently online); pre and post intervention surveys sent to all participating schools; and case studies in 10 schools involving interviews with staff and students participating on the programme.
