Why this programme?

The 3 Campus East Asia programme is unique in that it offers three destinations, as part of one organised initiative. Participating King's students will be accepted on an exchange basis, because of the partnerships King's has with Keio, Yonsei and HKU. They will be able to live, learn and interact with a small, select group of students from each of the three Asian universities, as well as those participating students from Princeton, Cornel, USC and Geneva. To quote from Yonsei's website: "This East Asia-focused academic program of learning, residing and working together will enable students to cultivate the intellectual and intercultural breadth and depth that will equip them as future global leaders. This network of students both from within the East Asia region (Korea, Japan, China) and from outside (the United States and the United Kingdom) will act as a valuable bridge between East Asia and the West. Participating students will be afforded a truly unique opportunity to learn collectively about East Asia. They will experience, analyse and comprehend East Asia from a genuinely comparative perspective by living and studying as a multinational and multicultural community in all three campuses. Students will have the option of enrolling in either a full one year or a half year schedule under a rigorous, innovative and coordinated curriculum."

How much will it cost?

King's students will be exempt from tuition fees because of the exchange partnerships that exist. The King's fee reductions will also apply. However, students will still be expected to pay for flights, visas, accommodation, meals, transport and other learning supplies (books, etc.).
