Supporting documents for online application
Your online application requires you to upload documents to our portal. You do not need all of these immediately, but your application will not be considered complete without them.
Our guidance notes will help with your application.
This is your opportunity to tell us why you wish to study at King's and why you have chosen your specific course. Please include information on:
how you feel the course you have chosen will benefit you
what you feel you can bring to King's as a student, and
the area of study you intend to progress to after completing your Foundation course.
Please write a minimum of four paragraphs.
Official academic transcripts
You need to provide a copy of either:
your completed High School graduation certificate plus an academic transcript with marks for years 11 and 12, or
your transcript of marks to date (if you are still completing high school)
These documents need to be translated into English.
English language certificate
You must submit an approved English language test certificate, such as an IELTS for UKVI, which must be dated within the last two years. If you have not taken one yet, you can still apply and if we make you an offer this will form part of the offer conditions.
Visa regulations for entry into the UK have changed recently and we recommend you leave enough time to apply for your visa as applications are taking longer to process than normal. For more information on the new visa system, please see our visa information page.
We understand that the new visa system may be confusing so, if you need any further advice on applying for your visa, please contact one of our Student Advice team.
Students who apply for accommodation by the specified deadline are guaranteed a place in King's accommodation for the duration of their academic preparation course. Students who progress to King's are also guaranteed accommodation for the first year of their degree.
Details of location and the facilities offered will be sent to you with the offer of a place on the course. Please see the Accommodation pages for further details.
