This Digital Economy MSc follows the digital to study how and why digital artefacts are transforming the way we work, transact, collaborate, and control global labour, institutions, and markets. With a focus on digital products, processes, services, business models, monetisation, and even orchestration, you’ll discover what happens to the digital in each of these spheres. And by tracing how these digital artefacts evolve and shift, you will gain an understanding of their influence at a macro level, how the phenomenon of digital growth impacts society, and how to best manage these artefacts at a micro level.

We recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible as we may need to request further information from you to assess your application. This is particularly important if your application is successful, and you are required to meet any conditions and/or you need a Student Visa to study at King’s.

King's College London is committed to the recruitment of students with the greatest academic ability and to maintain a diverse student population. In order to ensure a balanced international student population for our most competitive programmes, we have implemented the following deadlines:

  • The final application deadline for any students who are currently residing in mainland China is 7 January 2023 (23:59 UK time)

Please note: if you reside in mainland China and apply for this programme after the above deadline, your application may be automatically withdrawn and you will not be eligible for an application fee refund. 

  • Our first application deadline for any other applicants is on 6 March 2023 (23:59 UK time). The programme will remain open until the final application deadlines below if there are places still available:
  • Overseas (international) fee status: 24 July 2023 (23:59 UK time)
  • Home fee status: 24 August 2023 (23:59 UK time)

After the first application deadline, the programme will close at any point once it is full. Please note, you will not be eligible for an application fee refund if you apply after the first application deadline, and we are unable to process further offers because places are filled and we close the course before the final application deadline.
