Deposit
If you are assigned an Overseas fee status and you receive an offer for this programme, you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit to secure your place. Deposit payments are credited towards the total tuition fee payment.
The International deposit is £2000.
- If you receive an offer before 20 May, payment is due within one month of receiving the offer.
- If you receive an offer between 21 May and 15 July, payment is due within two weeks of receiving the offer.
- If you receive an offer between 16 July and 17 August, payment is due within one week of receiving the offer.
- If you receive an offer from 18 August onwards, payment is due within three days of receiving the offer.
Those who receive an offer and hold Home fee status will be required to accept their offer following the same timescales as above.
If you are a current undergraduate King’s student in receipt of the King's Living Bursary this academic year, you are not required to pay a deposit to secure your place on the programme. Please note, this will not change the total fees payable for your chosen programme.

NHS Learning Support Fund
A NHS Learning Support Fund is available for eligible students. Please refer to the NHS LSF webpage for eligibility criteria and full details about the fund.
Additional costs/expenses
The following table gives you an indication of additional costs associated with your course. These costs are not included in your tuition fees.

Clothing uniform |
Two sets of uniform for clinical practice will be provided for the course. Estimated cost for additional or replacement sets: £80 for two sets. |

Disclosure and Barring certificates |
Students have to pay for an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service clearance check. This is payable on induction and an annual update is available. Estimated cost £50. |

Equipment |
For clinical placement, you will need to purchase a stethoscope, any make/model and can be purchased from any source. |

Health checks/immunisations/vaccinations |
Students may be required to arrange and pay for the necessary vaccinations prior to commencing clinical placements. Multiple vaccinations may be required. Indicative cost £10-30 per vaccination. |

Travel and accommodation for clinical placement |
Students will need to pay for travel and accommodation for clinical placements over the duration of the course. A Learning Support Fund is available to eligible students to help cover these costs. More information on this Fund can be found on the NHS LSF website. |

Course related conferences |
Annual mandatory clinical skills training is provided for the programme. If mandatory training is missed with no mitigating circumstances then students may be liable for the cost of replacement training. Estimated annual cost: Year 1 Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), £29.50 Manual Handling (MH), £26.13 |
A Learning Support Fund is available to eligible students to help cover these costs. The training grant is £5000 per academic year for eligible students. More information on this fund can be found on the NHS Learning Support webpage.
