Teaching methods - what to expect
You will be taught through a combination of lectures, tutorials and independent study. A typical module will include a 1 - 2-hour lecture and a 1-hour tutorial each week. We encourage critical analysis and debate on contemporary management issues.
At King’s, we place great emphasis on independent study and research. As a student of business management, you will use resources which include books, journal articles, newspapers and magazines, the internet, social media, TV and radio and more to understand the discipline: how things were done and have developed; contemporary business management issues and challenges; and what might be in the future.
Typically, one credit equates to 10 hours of work.
We will use a delivery method that will ensure students have a rich, exciting experience from the start. Face to face teaching will be complemented and supported with innovative technology so that students also experience elements of digital learning and assessment.
