Teaching methods - what to expect
We use a combination of lectures and seminars and workshops to teach a range of modules.
The programme is made up of a combination of core, compulsory, and optional modules designed to develop both foundational knowledge and specialist expertise. Modules are typically 15 or 30 credits each. Each year of study has a total of 120 credits. Typically, one credit equates to 10 hours of work (both directed and independent study).
It is approximated that across the whole programme, students can expect, 15% Lectures, 10% Seminar, 75% Self-Guided Study.
