Find St Thomas’ House Library
Once you find the building the library entrance is on the ground floor.
In order to gain access, you will need your King’s ID card. If you are a member of NHS staff and would like to access the library please see the joining instructions.
This library is unstaffed, if you have a question or need assistance you can contact a librarian via our LibChat service on our LibAnswers pages on your mobile device or using one of the LibChat PCs in the library.
A close relationship with key London NHS Trusts, including Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital, ensures significant complementary clinical healthcare resources at St Thomas' House Library. Holdings include:
- Basic medical sciences
- Clinical medicine and health services research
St Thomas' House library is open 24/7, the King's Food cafe in the space is open 09.00-16.00 Monday to Friday, during term-time. See the opening hours for all King's libraries.
The library was refurbished over the summer of 2023 and is spread across one floor. The library hosts a variety of study spaces including a cafe/discussion zone as you enter, two bookable Group Study rooms, and a quiet zone at the back that contains the main book collection and NHS PCs.
