Staff wellbeing webinars

Free for all staff at King’s, these interactive and live wellbeing webinars have been designed by experienced facilitators who have a strong working knowledge of our cultures and practices.

The content is tailored to a university context and underpinned by core research, drawing on educational development, sociology and psychology. Choose from two topics: the first is focused on your own wellbeing and the second is focused on managing staff anxiety.

How to stay mentally well  

This interactive live 45-minute webinar, for staff at all levels, provides insights, suggestions and actionable tips on how to stay mentally well when working from home, and when working away from your team.

It covers the importance of routine, active planning, managing your own expectations, and managing personal boundaries. Each session is restricted to a maximum of 12 participants to ensure scope for discussion and participation.

How to manage staff anxiety

This interactive live 45-minute webinar, for staff with line management responsibilities, provides insights, suggestions and actionable tips on how to recognise, acknowledge and act on staff anxiety associated with disparate home working.

It also covers how to identify and manage one’s own work-related anxieties, ensuring you remain authentic to yourself and your staff, whilst also offering them encouragement and reassurance. Each session is restricted to a maximum of 12 participants to ensure scope for discussion and participation.
