The Programme Development & Approval Sub-Committee (PDASC) is Chaired by the Vice-Principal (Education) and brings together representatives from all Faculties (Institutes/Schools) and key Professional Services to recommend final programme approval to the Academic Board. In order to enable the College to take an overview of its new programme development, including collaborative programmes, PDASC will examine outline programme proposals prior to their full development.
Prior to submitting papers to PDASC, Faculties undertake discussions to identify likely resource requirements (including Marketing, IT, Library Services, Student Support, Admissions and Outreach), with the meetings of the Sub-Committee focusing on the academic content of proposed new programmes.
