Dr Susan Trenholm
Staff Member of the College Council
Dr Susan Trenholm was elected as a staff member of the College Council in November 2019.
Susan is a lecturer and programme director (MSc, Public Policy & Management) at King’s Business School. Her teaching and research focus on social entrepreneurship and socially focused innovation. Prior to receiving her PhD in Management from King’s College London in 2013, and embarking on an academic career, she had a 20+ year career spent in senior management and leadership roles within the private and public sectors in Canada. These roles included leading relationships at Pfizer Canada with non-profit organisations, and various Chief of Staff and policy roles within the federal and provincial governments. In these political roles she successfully managed or led major economic and social policy initiatives, particularly in the oil and gas sector and in the justice and home affairs sectors. Prior to joining King's in 2015 she was a lecturer in Strategic Management at the University of Melbourne. In addition to a PhD, Susan holds a BSc (Biology) and an MBA.
