Regulations

These pages provide access to Regulations of the College which have been approved by the College Council, or by the Academic Board or the Finance Committee under delegated authority from the Council.
Together with the College's Charter and Statutes and Ordinances, the Regulations establish a governance framework which ensures the proper conduct of the College's activities.
Types of Regulations
The College's Regulations fall into the following categories.
Academic Regulations
These provide the framework for the conduct of the College’s academic activities, governing matters such as admission, registration, enrolment and examination.
Regulations Concerning Students
Regulations on various issues relating to students of the College, such as payment of fees, residence regulations, discipline and misconduct, how to pursue a complaint, etc.
Financial Regulations
Provisions for the financial management of the College which are binding on all students and staff of the College. Access to the Regulations is limited to staff and students.
General Regulations
These deal with aspects of the College’s affairs and its governance which are not covered by other Regulations, or the College’s Ordinances, including the powers and duties of the Academic Board, the membership and organisation of Schools, and the use of College buildings.
Human Resources Regulations
Regulations on certain human resources processes relating to academic staff, e.g. discipline, grievance, dismissal and probation.
Library Services and Information Technology Regulations
Regulations on the use of the sites, services, facilities and resources provided or managed by the College’s LIbrary and Information Technology department.
