Estates & Facilities Senior Management
The Estates & Facilities Management team has a broad portfolio of responsibilities which range from security and daily cleaning and mail services, to small building projects and creating and sustaining a safe and healthy environment for our students, staff and visitors.
Nick O'Donnell, Director of Estates & Facilities
Nick is responsible for managing all aspects of the university’s property portfolio and related facilities. He supports the university’s objectives and mission, with a particular emphasis on the co-ordination of Space Planning, Construction Projects and Facilities Management through centrally and campus based teams and construction matters.

Peter Ward, Director of Real Estate Development
Peter is the Director of Real Estate Development for King’s College London and Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. He is leading a programme for the redevelopment of the Guy’s and St Thomas’ campuses, with a combined capital value of more than £2bn over the next decade. He is also responsible for new capital projects for King’s College London, with an annual recurrent investment of more than £50m.
Paul Wheeler, Director of Space & Workplace Management
Paul is responsible for managing the use and allocation of space across all of our properties and for the development of space strategies that meet the growing and changing requirements of the university.
Paloma Lisboa, Director of Operations
Paloma Lisboa moved on from her role in King’s Residences in 2020 to take up the role of Director of Operations in ehich she focuses on evolving the directorate’s strategic planning, performance and risk management at enterprise level, supported by her team’s specialisms in Safety Assurance, Sustainability, Community Experience and Governance.
Brendan Cahill, Director of Portfolio Management (PMO)
As Director of Portfolio Management, Brendan supports the continual improvement in the management of projects and resources, making sure the risks, issues and changes are adequately managed across the Estates & Facilities programme. He ensures that the university’s capital has robust controls and is allocated and utilised efficiently.
