Freedom of Information Act (FoIA) 2000
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) became effective from 1 January 2005. Although, King’s College London endeavours to keep all information supplied by prospective suppliers confidential, the university, in line with all public sector bodies, has duties under the FOIA to release information it holds to any person or organisation that requests it. There is limited scope for exemption from disclosing information held by the university and prospective suppliers should indicate what information in any documents that they pass to King's is confidential. This will be considered before any information is released but may be overridden to fulfil the College’s legal obligations.
More information regarding the Freedom of Information Act is available on the Information Compliance web pages.
