Health & Safety Services
The Health and Safety Services team reports to the Senior Vice President (Operations). The team's primary functions are:
- to advise upon and develop a suitable health and safety management framework which addresses the wide range of research, teaching and professional support activities to ensure that King's provides a safe, healthy and productive work and study environment.
- to develop effective internal assurance processes to monitor compliance with the university's health and safety management system and provide assurance reports to King's senior management and audit function.
- to advise on the statutory requirements and practical implications of health, safety and fire safety legislation.
