The Revd Jenny Morgans is an Anglican priest, based at Denmark Hill.
Jenny is originally from South Wales, and has lived in Wales, Scotland and England. She studied history and theology BA at the University of Birmingham, and later went to the University of Edinburgh to complete a MSc in religious studies. She worked at the University of Sheffield Chaplaincy as an Outreach Worker, before returning to Birmingham to train for ordination at The Queen’s Foundation. She was ordained in 2016 and worked in a parish in North Lambeth before coming to King's.
She is currently writing a PhD part-time in feminist practical theology, studying the experiences of Christian women at university. She is interested in the intersection of faith and gender in times of transition, and in how students go about making themselves ‘at home’ at uni.
She lives in Lambeth with her husband Stephen, her fat black cat Satine, and a couple of lodgers. She enjoys knitting, cooking, and going to the cinema. She is in a wild swimming group called ‘The Flamingos’, who she tries to go on holiday with as often as possible.
